Introducing my latest project: The Cybernetic Huntress ✨
A deadly long-range sniper, this character also marks my second milestone at Artside School.
She is fully game-ready and was inspired by the strong shapes and artistic direction of Overwatch.
Based on the amazing concept “Practice304” by Lzz:

I started by sculpting a detailed high poly in ZBrush, taking the time to push the sculpt further than I usually do in my hand-painting workflow.
The asset was then retopologized and UV’d in Maya for clean and efficient game-ready topology.
Baking and rendering were done in Marmoset Toolbag, followed by texturing in Substance Painter.
This project was a great opportunity to deepen my understanding of the full PBR pipeline, from high poly to clean bake, and to refine roughness and metallic maps alongside the albedo.
While I initially took inspiration from Overwatch, I gradually drew additional inspiration from Wayfinder and Supervive for the texturing approach.
I learned a lot throughout this project and really enjoyed pushing my skills further.
